Honda has mounted a clutch delay valve in the facelift model (MY04-09), to protect the differential. This valve has as restriction in the clutch cylinder, at sporty driving during shifting, your clutch is slipping. This is annoying on the street, but heavy irritating during sporty/circuit drive. As long as you dont race your S2000 or do clutch dumps, you dont need this valve.

a 1999-2003 S2000 doesn’t have this delay valve.
